Karen Gillan Talks Guardians/Avengers Crossover Potential

Karen Gillan has been talking to Total Film about the possibility of Guardians Of The Galaxy interacting with other entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"That sounds really cool, not something I've heard anything about, but that would be amazing. I would be open to that," she said, when asked about the possibility of a Guardians-Avengers movie.

Gillan - who plays the villainous Nebula in the film - went on to discuss the differences between Guardians of the Galaxy and last Summer's Avengers Assemble.

"What's different about Guardians is that everybody is a villain. There's just good guys within the bad guys," she added.

...And back in hairier times

Marvel have previously said that, at least up until 2015's Age Of Ultron, there will be no crossovers between the main Avengers movies and Guardians Of The Galaxy, although Guardians is widely expected to feature the villainous Thanos, first brought to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers Assemble.

Also starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Dave Bautista, Benicio Del Toro, Michael Rooker and Glenn Close, Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on August 1, 2014.
