Fox have confirmed that upcoming 12-part miniseries 24: Live Another Day will be filmed in London.
The return of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) will again be overseen by Howard Gordon and Jon Cassar. Speaking of the decision to film in London, Sutherland stated that they were playing up to the show's "global sensibility.
"To be able to tell this intense 24-style story with the beauty of Europe's history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating. Hopefully, by the time you're finished watching an episode, you'll feel like you've been there… on the edge of your seat."
Sutherland's comments are interesting: note that he doesn't specify London itself as the setting of the show. It's possible that London may double-up for another European location.
Also starring Mary Lynn Rajskub and Kim Raver, 24: Live Another Day will air on Fox in 2014.
