Ruth Negga has been cast in Marvel's upcoming Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The Irish actress played teleporter Nikki in the hit E4 series, and was recently seen as an WHO doctor in this Summer's Brad Pitt movie World War Z. She is soon to appear in 12 Years A Slave, a film that is already gaining serious Oscar buzz.
No details of her character have been revealed as yet, but Deadline reports that she will appear in "multiple episodes" of the Joss Whedon-helmed superhero drama.
