Follwing the recent rumours that he is up against Paul Rudd for the lead in Edgar Wright's Phase Three movie Ant-Man, Jospeph Gordon-Levitt has confirmed that he is in discussions with Marvel.
"There are always a lot of rumours around these projects and so far it is still only discussions," he told Huffington Post France.
He added: "I am always very transparent when it comes to my roles and my career. I'm usually the first to speak and communicate with my fans if something happens.
"If you hear nothing from me, they are just rumours."
The actor has previously been linked with playing Doctor Strange in Phase Three.
Ant-Man is out on the 31st July 2015
